Workshops or other events can often be booked with the artists on dates around their Trust concerts.
Most of this season's artists are available for performances in schools, community centres, homes etc. at
economic rates.

Dante String Quartet: Open Rehearsals (on Concert Days):
showing how chamber music works from the inside. The same music is played in various different ways, with comments from
the listeners. Feel more closely involved with the performance

Innovation Ensemble (CBSO): City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra
leading players design purpose-made workshops and interactive concerts for young people of different ages, as well as
stimulating masterclasses for players

Menuhin's Live Music Now! Artists
Performances and Workshops based on a journey through music and songs from the
Mediterranean and old European folk songs: experience various elements of the tradition through
music, song, dance and snippets of history.
International Baroque Players: Purpose-made workshops
with some of the brightest and best young 'historically informed' players and communicators
Tasmin Little: violin (performing with ECO). Probably the
world's greatest musical ambassador with her 'Naked Violin' and 'No Strings
Attached' pioneering projects, Tasmin devises workshops for any age group and number of people from small groups of players to large general
ones (school assemblies etc), and is equally at ease working in more out of the ordinary places
(workplaces, factories, libraries, hospitals, homeless refuges, prisons etc).

Through their mould-breaking education and outreach programme 'Music in the
Community' offers a vast array of education and outreach activities. Here are just a few examples:

Come In! - music workshops exploring sounds, rhythms and songs: 2 - 5 yrs & special needs
Young Performers' Platforms - performance masterclasses for young players
Ensemble 360 Coaching - sessions in small ensemble playing with groups of students
Rose Wind Trio: Relaxed workshops and interactive concerts for all ages and types.

Olympianist - Anthony Hewitt:

members to engage and explore their creativity, often for those that have little other chance
