Wihan Quartet plays Beethoven

The Wihan Quartet, formed in 1985, are heirs to the great Czech musical tradition. The Quartet's outstanding reputation for the interpretation of its native Czech heritage and of the many classical, romantic and modern masterpieces of the string quartet repertoire is widely acknowledged.
Since winning the London International String Quartet Competition in 1991, and numerous other major chamber music competitions, the Wihan Quartet has developed an impressive international career with regular visits to the USA, Japan, and major festivals and concert halls throughout Europe as well as regular broadcasts on television and radio.
